1.For the strap, measure and cut a length of woven ribbon. 
2.Fold the ribbon around the central bar of the buckle. Pin the strap to the end at 4 cm from the edge. Secure with 2 rows of stitching. 
3.Run the ribbon through the first carabine and then back into the belt buckle. 
4.At the opposite end of the ribbon, sew on the second carabine (the same way you sewed the buckle). You can hang the finished strap on e.g. the D-rings or square rings on your handbags.
