Make unique sewing projects with your very own motif designs
1.Using a pencil, draw your motif onto a piece of Vliesofix/Bondaweb. The Vliesofix should be slightly larger than your motif. NB: Draw on the paper side. You can draw any motif you wish. 
2.Place the Vliesofix with the motif onto your fabric. Ensure that the adhesive is facing the fabric. Set your iron to the Wool setting (2-3 dots). Press using dry heat for 5 seconds. If your motif is larger than the iron plate, gradually shift the iron 5 sec at a time until your entire motif is affixed to the fabric. You may have to test your fabric to ensure that you can safely iron it at the same temperature as the Vliesofix. 
3.Cut out your motif. 
4.Remove the backing paper. 
5.Place the motif with the adhesive side facing the fabric or garment to which you wish to sew it. To affix the motif, press firmly using the iron (see step 2). 
6.Sew the motif. If your fabric frays easily, use a narrow, dense zigzag stitch. If your fabric is not one that frays easily, if you wish you can sew your motif on using a line of straight stitching 1-2 mm from the edge.
