We are not talking about chocolate, but this is about a cube-shaped foam cushion. With a size of 40x40x40 cm, this foam cube is perfect as a pouf, footstool or for playing!
Use it in the children's room in different beautiful colours, allowing your children to stack, build and use them as extra seating around the drawing table.

Foam for cubes
The foam cube is made of a good solid quality that won't sink under you.
This foam is OEKO-TEX® certified polyether foam, which is naturally not treated with flame retardants. The foam has a high tear strength and is moisture resistant, so you get a durable foam for your DIY project.
It has a density of 30, so it's both soft and comfortable. The hardness is 160 N.
Choose the right foam hardness
Foam is not just foam. Once you've spent hours sewing the best-looking cover for your project, you need to choose the right foam to put inside.
The hardness of foam is called Newton (N). The higher the Newton, the harder the foam. You can assume that a foam with 100 N or less is soft, around 140 N is medium soft and more than 160 N is hard.
Naturally, your creative project and ideas will determine which hardness to choose, but as a starting point we recommend:
- 80-130 N for back cushions, bed frames and similar
- 110-160 N for sleeping mattresses
- 130-200 N for seat cushions for chairs, sofas and the like
