Download free PDF Step by step guide 1.Always wash muslin before use. Cut out the templates.2.Cut out leaves using the templates. Cut 2 pieces of each.3.Cut leaves in Fibersoft batting. Cut 1 for each template. Lay a piece of muslin leaf on the Fibersoft batting leaf. Sew around the leaf (seam allowance 0.3 cm). Trim off any excess Fibersoft.4.Place the second piece of muslin leaf on top. Sew right sides together. Leave 4 cm open along the long edge. Turn and press.5.Topstitch the leaf to quilt veins like those on a natural leaf.6.Cut the loop from the template. Press folds, and fold in half lengthwise. Topstitch along both long sides.7.Attach the loop to the leaf ring an extra row of stitches. Note: If you wish to make a teething ring, fold the strap around a wooden ring (46/67 mm) and secure with stitching.8.Mobile: Wrap 2 leather cords, each approx. 1.30 m long, around the small wooden ring to form 4 equal lengths of cord.9.Bind the cord to the large wooden ring approximately 12 cm from the end. Bind the leaves at about 12 cm intervals.
