    1.Cut the fabric to the desired measurements + seam allowance (width + 10 cm x length + 8 cm). Fold twice and sew the sides onto the wrong side, 2 x 2.5 cm.

    2.Fold and sew the bottom edge to the wrong side (2 x 3 cm) to form a slot for the bottom rod. Close the slot at one end. Leave it open at the other end.

    3.Fold and press the top edge 2 cm to the wrong side. To secure the looped part of hook & loop tape, sew it to the hem, 2 mm from the top edge.

    4.Sew blind tape to the wrong side of the blind at 18-22 cm intervals (horizontally), measured from the top edge. Start and end by folding the end of the tape 1.5 cm to the wrong side. The tape must start and end at the side seams.

    5.Place a cord eye approx. 5 cm inside the rod at both sides and at 30-40 cm intervals.

    6.Sew the small rings to the bottom to flush with the cord eyes. Sew the rings at the top edge of the seam allowance.

    7.Tie the cord stops to the ring.

    8.Cut as many cords as there are cord eyes. Each cord must measure 2 x the blind’s full length + 1 x width. Thread the cords vertically up through the small loops in the blind tape.

    9.Insert cords into the cord stops.

    10.Insert the blind rods under the blind tapes.

    11.Insert the bottom rod into the slot, and hand-stitch to close the open end.

    12.Attach the cord lock to the outside of the cord eye on one side - left or right, whichever is best suited to the window.

    13.Then pull the cord through the cord eyes and out through the cord lock on the right/left side.

    14.All the cords must run through the cord lock and out under the small steel wheel. Gather all the cords. Cut them to the same length and attach the cord lock. 15. Attach the curtain to the rod, with the hook and loop tapes engaged.
