1.You will need 4 different denim fabrics that you cut into patchwork squares. 2.Our patchwork tools are great. Use them to cut fabric precisely. 3.Sew the squares together in strips. 4.Overlock or zigzag the raw seams. Press the seams (iron on the wrong side). 5.Sew the strips together. Overlock/zigzag the seams. Press. 6.Lay out your pattern pieces. Cut out and sew the kimono. 7.To give your denim patchwork a nice worn look, rub with sandpaper. 8.Cut small slits using a small pair of scissors - for a raw and fringed edges. Wash in the washing machine to highlight the stressed look. 9.The finished look.
