    1.If you want pockets in a top, place the pocket approx. 47cm from the shoulder point. Draw a notch in the side seam and another notch 15 cm further down. Cut 4 pocket pieces according to the pattern.

    2.If you want pockets in a skirt with a sewn-on waistband, draw a notch 6 cm from the top edge. If you want pockets in a skirt where the pattern has a folded waistband for elastic, draw a notch 12 cm from the top edge. Draw another notch 15 cm from the first notch. Cut 4 pocket pieces according to the pattern.

    3.Sew the pocket on the front piece with a 1 cm seam allowance, sew between the two notches.

    4.Cut diagonally into the corners.

    5.Turn the seam allowance towards the pocket and press from the back side.

    6.Sew a topstitch 0.3 cm from the seam, sewing only through the pocket and seam allowance.

    7.Turn the pocket inside out and press.

    8.Place the other pocket part, right sides together, and sew a stitch with a 1 cm seam allowance around the bow.

    9.Turn the pocket inside out and sew in place 0.5 cm from the edge. You can now continue the sewing process, possibly sewing side seams together on the front and back.

    10.Place back piece on front piece and sew side seam. Be careful not to close the pocket opening.
