The Schmetz Super Stretch needle is exceptional due to its special design and durability. It differs from Jersey and Stretch needles by having a wider eye and a wider groove, which allows for sewing with thicker threads without the risk of them becoming overloaded and breaking.
The Super Stretch needle is ideal for very elastic, super fine stretch and microfiber fabrics, such as when sewing underwear or bras.
Suitable for all common household sewing machines.
Remember to change the needle frequently, as all needles wear at the tip during sewing. Damaged or worn needles can result in broken or frayed threads, skipped stitches, wrinkled or damaged fabrics, and noises from the sewing machine.
