The SCHMETZ Black Super Fine needle has a non-stick coating that allows the thread to pass through the eye with less friction, while the needle glides more easily through the fabric. This needle is ideal for sewing delicate, fine, and lightweight fabrics. It has a slim, slightly rounded tip and a smaller eye, making it resistant to sticky stabilizers, interfacing, and glue.
Universal needles belong to the 130/705 H system, which has a flat shank and fits all common household sewing machines.
Remember to change the needle frequently, as all needles wear at the tip during sewing. Damaged or worn needles can result in broken or frayed threads, skipped or uneven stitches, wrinkled or damaged fabrics, and noise from the sewing machine.
