Make a sturdy loop: wind 1.5-2 m of remaining cord around and below the loop.2.Divide cord lengths into four pairs. Knot them pairwise onto the large ring approx. 45-50 cm below the loop, at right angles to each other (making 4 quarters of the ring). Then knot the last 4 pairs of cord onto the ring between the first knots.3.Take one cord from a pair and one cord from the next pair. Make a knot approx. 7-8 cm below the ring. Continue all the way around.4.Repeat as before. Tie 8 new knots approx. 11-12 cm below the ring.5.Divide the pairs again. This time, knot them securely to the small ring approx. 15-16 cm below the large ring.6.Gather all the cords below the small ring. Wind 1-1.5 m of cord tightly around all the cords to make a sturdy “base” (as at the top).7.Cut and fray cords at the desired length.8.Wind cord around both rings so that they are completely covered. (You will need approx. 3.5 m for the large ring and 1.5 m for the small ring.)
